Michele graduated from Harvard Law School in 2004 and has extensive experience in business law. She clerked for the Honorable Sharon Prost of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit in the judge’s chambers, working with one of the nation’s most respected experts in intellectual property law.
Before moving to Monterey in 2017, Michele worked for multinational law firms, advising multibillion technology companies, including Sony, Microsoft and Apple, on intellectual property matters.
She also has significant high-level experience as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice, the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of the Interior. In 2014, she advised on high-profile congressional investigations and on records and management issues. She served as interagency liaison with the CIA, DoD, White House and DOJ.
Michele has a special interest in health law and served as the representative member for the National Women’s Law Center’s Women & Health Care Coalition.
Michele lives in Carmel with her husband and four children, and remains very active in the community.
